That we can help each individual we meet. Whether it’s carrying a new mother’s grocery cart back when she’s done unloading her groceries, supporting an associate that’s struggling by buying lunch, or helping the people we meet buy & sell real estate, we are in the lifelong business of helping people.
Our positive attitude is our driving force. Our desire and ability to give back to those who give to us is what sets us apart. We never stop looking for ways that we can give back to the world that gives so much to us.

Since that time, he became a licensed agent that focuses on assisting buyers with the purchase of their home. He has made it his goal to create positive client experiences, where building and maintaining trust is at the core of his business. Susan began her real estate career with a successful team partnership whereby she was recognized as a top 25 agent within her former company. Six years later, she joined Callie Dalton & Associates, one of Virginia’s highest volume teams.
Susan is a native Roanoker, and has an impressive retail, fundraising, and equine background, which gives her an extra edge as an agent. She attended Sweet Briar College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a minor in Business Management, and a Certificate of Recognition in Equine Studies.
She grew up working for her family’s women’s clothing business, Lazarus, and quickly moved up in the retail world. During her 12-year retail career, she worked as an assistant buyer for Thailhimer’s and then with Hecht’s as a company buyer.
Susan then turned her focus to her family and fundraising efforts. She helped found the Roanoke Academy of Medicine Book & Author Dinner. She served as Chairman for the Junior League of the Roanoke Valley for the Roanoke Valley Horse Show. She has also been involved with the Sweet Briar Equestrian program, served on the Virginia Trail Riders Board, and been a member of the Rockbridge Hunt for the past 15 years.
Susan’s lifelong experience in retail and the equine community contribute to her success as an agent, particularly when helping clients with farm purchases; a real estate specialty she enjoys most.
Elizabeth is a Roanoke native and had an early beginning in Real Estate. Her father’s Real Estate appraisal company gave her the opportunity to learn about the field at a young age. Elizabeth graduated from Radford University in 2007 with a degree in Liberal Arts and concentrations in Interior Design and Communication. After college, she began working for her father’s company full time. Being an ambitious young professional, Elizabeth wanted to venture out of Real Estate to develop her customer care knowledge. Before returning to Real Estate she worked for a chiropractic office where she strengthened their social media and public presence. While she enjoyed many aspects of her job, she soon realized her passion was in Real Estate. Elizabeth is the newest addition to Callie Dalton & Associates and handles the team’s client relations.
